This Kupid AI review puts the billing and data terms ahead of the feature list, because that is where the open questions are. Kupid AI is a companion service that runs in the browser. Its current privacy policy and subscription footer name Servalot Ltd in Cyprus as the operator (checked 2026-10-28). The public pricing page showed euro amounts: €3.44 per week for Pro next to a crossed-out €12.99, and €5.75 per week for Ultra next to a crossed-out €24.99. The page did not say which billing term these figures belong to or what total is charged at checkout. A euro display does not by itself prove a Dutch checkout, and the page did not say whether 21% BTW is included.

The allowances are clearer than the prices. Pro lists 25 photos, 8 videos and 12 voice minutes per week, plus 4 custom characters. Ultra lists 75 photos, 25 videos and 35 voice minutes per week, plus 8 custom characters. Kupid also uses coins. Coins granted through a subscription, free trial, promotion or gift expire six months after they are granted. Packs bought directly do not expire. The coins closest to expiry are spent first.

Check two things before you pay. First, the pricing page says there is one payment and nothing renews, yet the subscription terms explain how to cancel. Only the order summary for the offer you choose can tell you whether a plan renews. Second, the privacy policy normally keeps personal information for six years after an account is closed. If you want to compare these terms with services that publish monthly prices and offer cancellation inside the account, start with the overview of best AI girlfriend apps.

Criterion scores

Provisional (6/8 criteria). Scores are computed from each app's published terms, pricing, policies and store listings on the dates shown. We have not yet run paid test accounts; when we do, experience criteria will be added and the cap on the total score removed. Affiliate links never change a score. A score marked Full data rests on all eight criteria. Provisional means five to seven criteria could be scored from published facts. Limited data means only three or four criteria could be scored; such totals are capped at 4.0 and should be read as a floor, not a verdict. Apps with fewer than three scorable criteria get no total. Totals are weighted means of the scored criteria only and move when missing facts get documented. Full methodology

When these details were checked

Page updated 2026-11-01. We checked the public pricing page, including the weekly figures and plan allowances, on 2026-10-28. On the same date we read the terms of service (coin rules, cancellation, refunds and content rules), the privacy policy, the separate 2257 statement and the Trustpilot profile. We confirmed the operator against the current privacy policy and subscription footer on 2026-10-28.

The privacy policy shows the revision date 02/05/2023. That could mean 2 May or 5 February, so we do not tie the policy text to a single date. Kupid's offers can change between visits. The amount, term and renewal statement on your own order summary take precedence over anything on this page.

Kupid AI pricing in euros and what a month can cost

The pricing page we checked on 2026-10-28 showed prices in euros. Pro was listed at €3.44 per week next to a crossed-out €12.99. Ultra was listed at €5.75 per week next to a crossed-out €24.99. We could not tell from the page which billing tab was selected or what total is charged at payment. Nor did the page say over what period the weekly figures are calculated. We therefore treat them as display rates, not as charges.

For a rough idea, here are the displayed weekly rates multiplied out. Four weeks of Pro come to €13.76 and four weeks of Ultra to €23.00. Over 52 weeks that is €178.88 and €299.00. These are our own calculations, not amounts we saw billed, and they only hold if the actual charge follows the weekly rate. The euro display was also not linked to a verified Netherlands location, so it does not show that Dutch BTW at 21% is already included. If your payment summary lists BTW on a separate line, the total line is what you pay. If it shows one inclusive figure, adding 21% yourself would count the tax twice.

Coins make up the rest of the cost. According to the terms, coins granted through a subscription, free trial, promotion or gift expire six months after they are granted. Coin packs bought directly do not expire. Coins closest to expiry are used first. Coins cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, and Kupid may change allocations and pricing. The pages we checked did not show coin pack prices or what individual actions cost in coins. A realistic monthly figure is the plan charge plus whatever you spend on coins, and there is no published ceiling. Set your own top-up limit and check the balance after a week of normal use; that tells you more than the plan page does.

The weekly allowances are the firmest numbers available. Ultra gives three times the photos of Pro (75 against 25) and roughly three times the videos (25 against 8) and voice minutes (35 against 12). It also doubles the custom character slots (8 against 4). Whether that gap is worth the higher display rate depends on how much media you actually use in a week.

The pages we checked did not list payment methods. Do not assume iDEAL, SEPA direct debit, PayPal or other common Dutch methods until you see them in the checkout itself. The guide to AI girlfriend apps in the Netherlands compares how other services present prices and payment options to Dutch users.

Features: memory, voice, media and characters

Memory. The plan comparison gives the last 100 messages as the memory figure. We could not read a separate figure for Ultra (checked 2026-10-28). This is how much recent conversation the model is said to take into account. It is a stated context limit, not a measured ability to recall details over weeks of chatting.

Voice. Both plans include voice messages: 12 minutes per week on Pro and 35 on Ultra. The interface has a Talk to Her label, but the label alone does not show that live two-way calls are available. The supported voice languages are not listed.

Photos and video. Both plans include generated media with weekly limits: 25 photos and 8 videos on Pro, 75 photos and 25 videos on Ultra. The pages we checked did not list image styles. When comparing plans, keep the units separate, because photos, videos and voice minutes each have their own weekly cap.

Custom characters. You can create your own characters, up to 4 on Pro and 8 on Ultra. Characters can be female or male, and the terms describe them as virtual fictional personas. If you want to run several separate storylines, check that the plan has enough slots.

Platform. Kupid AI runs in a web browser. We found no Kupid listing in the iOS App Store or Google Play on the checked dates. If you search for a Kupid AI app, use the official site rather than unofficial download pages.

Language. Kupid has not published a list of supported languages, and the quality of conversations in Dutch has not been verified. If you want to chat in Dutch, try the test messages before registration to see how the service responds before you pay.

Adult content: what the terms allow and where moderation applies

The terms of service allow adult content generated for users who are 18 or older, or of the legal age where they live (checked 2026-10-28). That permission has limits. The terms prohibit illegal content and content that exploits minors, and they allow both automated and manual moderation of generated material. Nothing in the terms promises that filters can be switched off. Adult text and images are allowed, but within moderation.

The terms describe the characters as virtual fictional personas, and this page covers only that scope. A paid plan raises the weekly media allowances. It does not change the content rules, and requests that break those rules can be refused on any plan. Manual moderation also means a person may review flagged material, which matters for the privacy terms below: software is not the only thing that handles what you write and generate.

The full content rules are in the terms of service on the official site. Read them before counting on any particular kind of roleplay being available.

Privacy: Cyprus jurisdiction, six-year retention and deletion requests

Kupid AI's privacy policy places the service with a Cypriot operator. It describes rights under the GDPR, including erasure and withdrawal of consent (checked 2026-10-28). For users in the Netherlands this means the EU data protection framework applies, and the controller contact is the first place to send any request.

The most important number here is the retention period. The policy says personal information is normally kept for six years after an account is closed, and that this period may vary for business or regulatory reasons. Closing your account does not mean your data disappears soon afterwards.

The service's marketing uses the phrase 100% anonymous. The policy, however, says account data, conversation content and usage data may be processed, and that content may be moderated. Marketing wording does not prove anonymity, and the pages we checked do not show end-to-end encryption for chats.

You request deletion through the controller contact. The policy tells users to request erasure or withdraw consent using the controller email link. The pages we checked did not document an exact route inside the account interface. Send the request from the email address linked to your account. Ask explicitly for erasure of your account and conversation data, and keep the reply. Because of the six-year rule, also ask which data will remain stored and on what legal basis.

The displayed policy revision, 02/05/2023, can be read as two different dates. Some older third-party reviews name another company as operator, or say that no company was named. The current policy and subscription footer identify Servalot Ltd, so those older claims should not be used to interpret today's terms.

Sign-up, test messages and age requirements

The terms require users to be 18 or older, or of legal age in their country (checked 2026-10-28). The pages we checked describe no document upload, selfie estimate or third-party age check for ordinary subscribers. Kupid publishes a separate 2257 statement saying that content uploaders are identified and verified. That statement applies to uploaders. It does not show that a regular subscriber's age is checked.

The privacy policy allows a few test messages before registration. The exact number and whether it resets were not confirmed. Some third-party reviews quote 15 messages, but they disagree on whether that is a total or a weekly amount, so we do not present either version as a free allowance. These messages give you a brief look at the chat. They are not a free plan.

The pages we checked did not say whether registration needs an email address, phone number or card. Before you enter payment details, read the order summary for the total amount, the billing term and any renewal statement, and take a screenshot. Keeping that record matters more than usual here because of the renewal conflict described in the next section.

Bank statement, renewal and how to cancel

The pages we checked did not show the name that appears on a bank or card statement. If you pay and later see a descriptor you do not recognise, compare the amount and date with your Kupid order confirmation before you contact your bank.

The biggest open question is automatic renewal. The pricing page says there is one payment and nothing renews, while the subscription terms discuss cancelling a subscription (checked 2026-10-28). Both statements cannot be true of every offer. Only the checkout for the plan you pick shows which one applies. Look in the summary for words such as renews, recurring or subscription period, and note any renewal date it shows.

To cancel, the terms tell you to contact support through the email link in the terms of service. We found no documented cancel button inside the account, and the pages did not say what access remains after cancelling. Send the cancellation from your account email address well before any renewal date. Include the plan name and order date, and keep the confirmation you receive.

Refunds are limited. The terms describe digital sales as final and nonrefundable after use, and they do not describe a specific EU withdrawal procedure. Coins narrow this further. Granted coins expire six months after the grant date and cannot be exchanged for cash, so you cannot recover an unused grant as a balance.

Red flags to weigh before paying

These points come from the official pages and one public review platform, all checked on 2026-10-28.

  • Retention: the privacy policy normally keeps personal information for six years after account closure, while the marketing uses the phrase 100% anonymous.
  • Renewal: the pricing page says nothing renews, but the terms describe cancellation. Only the checkout can settle this.
  • Price display: weekly euro figures appear next to crossed-out prices, with no confirmed upfront total, billing term or BTW statement.
  • Coin expiry: subscription, trial, promotional and gift coins expire after six months.
  • Cancellation by email: no route inside the account is documented.
  • Refunds: digital sales are final after use, and no EU withdrawal process could be verified.
  • Reputation: Trustpilot showed 3.1 from 17 reviews, with no recent invitations reported. That sample is too small to say much about quality either way.

Kupid AI compared with Candy.ai, Nomi.ai and OurDream

Readers often compare Kupid AI with Candy AI, so Candy.ai is included here along with two other services that publish more of their billing details. All figures are as displayed on official pages on the dates shown. Dollar amounts are not converted.

The main difference is how much each service documents. Candy.ai, Nomi.ai and OurDream each describe a cancellation route inside the account, while Kupid relies on email to support. Candy.ai publishes a fixed free allowance of 5 messages in total, and Nomi.ai one of 50 messages per day. Kupid documents only a few test messages. Kupid is the only one of the four showing euro amounts, but as weekly figures without a confirmed checkout total. Who Kupid AI suits and who should look elsewhere

Kupid AI suits adults who want weekly media allowances with clear unit counts and who are willing to confirm the billing terms at checkout before paying. The plan structure makes media use easy to estimate. If you expect to generate around 25 photos and a few videos a week, Pro's quotas tell you exactly what you get. Heavier use points to Ultra's 75 photos and 25 videos.

It fits less well if you need certainty before you pay. A published monthly euro price including BTW, a confirmed iDEAL option, a cancel button inside the account and quick deletion of data after closing an account are all either unconfirmed or work against you here. Dutch speakers should also note that conversation quality in Dutch has not been verified. If those points matter, compare local options in the Netherlands overview.

What we like

  • Adults who use generated photos, video and voice notes every week and want fixed weekly quotas
  • Users who buy coin packs directly and want those coins not to expire
  • People who create several of their own fictional characters (4 on Pro, 8 on Ultra)

What could be better

  • Anyone who needs a confirmed monthly euro total including 21% BTW before paying
  • Users who want to cancel with a button rather than by email
  • Readers who want personal data removed soon after closing their account
  • People who mainly want to chat in Dutch with confirmed quality
  • Users looking for a free plan with a fixed allowance

Frequently asked questions

Is Kupid AI free to try?

Only briefly. The privacy policy allows a few test messages before registration, but the exact number and any reset were not confirmed (checked 2026-10-28). Some third-party reviews mention 15 messages, but they disagree on whether that is a total or a weekly amount. No free plan with a fixed allowance is documented.

What does Kupid AI cost in euros?

The pricing page showed Pro at €3.44 per week next to a crossed-out €12.99, and Ultra at €5.75 per week next to a crossed-out €24.99 (checked 2026-10-28). The page did not show the upfront total, the billing term or whether 21% BTW is included. Only your order summary reliably shows the amount charged.

Does a Kupid AI subscription renew automatically?

The official pages contradict each other. The pricing page says there is one payment and nothing renews, while the subscription terms describe how to cancel (checked 2026-10-28). Before paying, read the checkout summary for the plan you choose and look for a renewal date or recurring-payment wording.

How do I cancel my Kupid AI subscription?

The terms tell you to contact support through the email link in the terms of service. No cancel button inside the account was documented. Send the request from your account email address, mention the plan and order date, and keep the confirmation.

Can I pay for Kupid AI with iDEAL or PayPal?

The pages checked on 2026-10-28 did not list payment methods. The prices were shown in euros, but that does not confirm iDEAL, SEPA direct debit or PayPal. Check which methods the checkout offers before entering any details.

Is Kupid AI safe for my personal data?

The operator is based in Cyprus and the privacy policy describes GDPR rights. The policy normally keeps personal information for six years after account closure, and it says conversation and usage data may be processed and moderated. The pages checked do not show end-to-end encryption. You request deletion through the controller email contact.

Who operates Kupid AI?

The current privacy policy and subscription footer name Servalot Ltd, based in Cyprus (checked 2026-10-28). Some older third-party reviews name a different company or say no company was named. Those claims do not match the current official pages.

Does Kupid AI allow NSFW chat?

The terms allow adult content with fictional characters for users who are 18 or of local legal age. Moderation can be automated or manual, illegal content and content exploiting minors are prohibited, and the terms do not promise that filters can be removed.

Is there a Kupid AI app?

Kupid AI runs in a web browser. We found no App Store or Google Play listing on the checked dates, so use the official website rather than third-party download pages.

What happens to unused Kupid AI coins?

Coins granted through a subscription, trial, promotion or gift expire six months after they are granted, and the coins closest to expiry are used first. Coin packs bought directly do not expire. No coins can be transferred or exchanged for cash (checked 2026-10-28).
