18+ only. This page covers an adult companion service built around fictional adult characters. It describes published prices, coin charges and account terms.
Most of this OurDream AI review comes down to arithmetic. The annual plan is advertised at a monthly equivalent of US$9.99, but you pay US$119.88 in a single charge. The monthly plan costs US$19.99 per month. Both prices are published in US dollars, and neither appears as a euro total with the Dutch BTW rate of 21% included. We checked these figures on 2026-10-28.
Each plan includes Dreamcoins, the service's internal currency. Ordinary paid text chat is listed at zero coins, so a subscriber who sticks to standard text pays a fixed amount. A Genius response costs one coin, an in-chat image five and a voice-call minute 50. Think of the subscription as the entry fee. Images, voice and video come out of a separate allowance of 1,000 coins per month.
You can leave in two ways, and they work differently. If you cancel the subscription, you keep access until the paid term ends. If you delete the account, any active subscription is cancelled automatically, remaining coins are forfeited without a refund, and the deletion is processed within 24 to 48 hours. The operator is Dream Studio USA, Inc., registered in Delaware. Its privacy policy allows user content to be used to train AI and machine-learning models.
Scores by criterion
Provisional (6/8 criteria). Scores are computed from each app's published terms, pricing, policies and store listings on the dates shown. We have not yet run paid test accounts; when we do, experience criteria will be added and the cap on the total score removed. Affiliate links never change a score. A score marked Full data rests on all eight criteria. Provisional means five to seven criteria could be scored from published facts. Limited data means only three or four criteria could be scored; such totals are capped at 3.5 and should be read as a floor, not a verdict. Apps with fewer than three scorable criteria get no total. Totals are weighted means of the scored criteria only and move when missing facts get documented. Full methodology

Check dates for this page
We checked plan prices, Dreamcoin rates, help articles, the underage policy and the privacy policy on 2026-10-28. The image-style reference in the official FAQ was checked on 2026-10-29, and the page was updated that same day. The source dates behind the figures below: the action-cost guide is dated 2 March 2026, the help article on reference photos 9 March 2026 and the privacy policy 26 August 2026.
This page reports published terms and documented features. We did not measure dialogue quality, memory or image output; the displayed score is based on published facts.
What it looks like

Plans, Dreamcoins and what a month really costs
The two paid plans share a coin system but bill on very different schedules. Standard Monthly charges US$19.99 every month and adds 1,000 Dreamcoins at each renewal. Standard Annual takes US$119.88 in one go. Its first month carries 2,000 coins thanks to a one-time 1,000-coin bonus, and every later month adds the usual 1,000. If each grant arrives as described, the first annual year comes to 13,000 coins, not 24,000. Prices checked 2026-10-28.
The subscription fee is your real monthly cost only while your usage stays within the included coins. Here are three examples on Standard Monthly, using the published rates (action-cost guide dated 2026-03-02):
- Text only: standard paid chat at zero coins. Coins used: 0. Monthly cost: US$19.99.
- Mixed use: 150 Genius responses (150 coins), 40 in-chat images (200), 6 voice-call minutes (300) and 10 premium narration paragraphs (50). Coins used: 700 of 1,000. Monthly cost: still US$19.99.
- Voice and video heavy: 15 call minutes (750 coins) and three standard five-second videos (300). Coins used: 1,050, which is 50 more than the monthly grant.
In the third example, the subscription alone does not cover the month. The official pages do not confirm the euro or dollar price of extra coin packs on the check date, so we cannot say what that shortfall costs. Check it in your account before buying. The examples also assume you spend no coins on anything else that month.
For Dutch buyers, the biggest open question is the checkout. The standard Dutch BTW rate is 21%, but it is not confirmed whether OurDream adds BTW at checkout or whether it charges in euros or US dollars. For that reason the prices above are not converted and do not include BTW. Official help states that PayPal is not supported, and iDEAL and SEPA direct debit were not confirmed as payment options. The overview of AI girlfriend apps available in the Netherlands covers local payment and tax context across services.
The help pages list no promotional pricing beyond the plan structure. The only documented saving there is the annual plan's lower monthly equivalent and its first-month coin bonus.
| Plan | Amount charged (USD) | Dreamcoins included | Point to note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard Monthly | US$19.99 per month | 1,000 at purchase and at each monthly renewal | Renews automatically every month |
| Standard Annual | US$119.88 per year, paid upfront | 2,000 at first purchase (including a one-time 1,000 bonus), then 1,000 each later month | US$9.99 is a monthly equivalent, not a monthly charge |
| Free account | No subscription fee | No fixed universal signup or daily grant established | Each chat message costs one coin |
Documented features and what each one costs in coins
Platform. According to the official community FAQ, there is no native app. OurDream runs in the browser and can be installed as a progressive web app (PWA), which opens in an app-like window on a phone or desktop. Because it is not sold through Apple or Google, you cannot manage the subscription in your phone's app-store settings.
Text chat. Three text rates are listed. Standard paid text costs zero coins. A message from a free account costs one coin, and so does a response from the Genius or Lively Genius models. A subscriber who uses the enhanced models for long sessions will spend the allowance on text alone. Unlimited text, then, applies only to the standard model on a paid plan.
Voice. The cost guide lists both voice messages and live calls. A call minute costs 50 coins. Narration is priced per paragraph rather than per minute: standard narration with the included voices costs zero coins, and premium narration costs five coins per paragraph. These voice features are priced very differently, so treat them as separate items.
Images and editing. An in-chat image costs five coins. Two standard generated images cost ten coins together, which works out to the same five coins each. An unofficial calculator lists ten coins per image, but the official guide charges ten coins for the pair. Editing uses named tools: a Spark edit costs ten coins and an Eclipse edit twenty. The official FAQ names an anime generator, and the sources we checked list no other visual styles (style reference checked 2026-10-29).
Video. A standard five-second video costs 100 coins and an Ultra video 200. Enhancing five seconds of video costs 50 coins, and adding audio costs 20 coins per second, so a short video with sound can cost more than many images. A newer product update mentions a Prime video option at 10 coins, but it does not make the unit clear. We left that option out of the calculations on this page.
Characters. You can create your own characters or use ones shared by the community. The official guide lists character creation, including two generated images, at ten coins. One unofficial wiki reports a five-coin charge seen in an October 2026 account. The official pages do not confirm that observation, so this page uses the published ten-coin figure.
The help pages give no context size or measured recall for memory. A Reddit thread from 2026-05-04 contains differing personal views on memory, but these are user opinions, not test results.
Adult content rules and their limits
The terms of service describe OurDream as adult entertainment. Users who meet the age requirement may create adult text and adult images with fictional adult characters. The terms also list prohibited categories that apply on every plan:
- illegal sexual content;
- any content involving minors;
- unauthorised use of a person's likeness and other privacy violations.
Official help dated 2026-03-09 says reference photo uploads are not allowed. Every image is generated from the service's own characters and prompts, never from a photograph the user supplies. This fits the likeness prohibition in the terms.
It is not confirmed whether adult content sits behind a settings toggle, or what moderation applies to individual requests. A paid plan buys coins and access to models; it does not change the content rules. Policies checked 2026-10-28.
Privacy: jurisdiction, training, encryption and deletion
Jurisdiction. According to the privacy policy dated 2026-08-26, Dream Studio USA, Inc. operates the service from 1111B S Governors Ave, STE 28684, Dover, Delaware. The policy describes storage and international transfers that include the United States. A Dutch user's chats are therefore handled under a US-based company's policy, although EU data-protection requests can be sent to the listed contact, [email protected].
Training. The policy allows OurDream to use collected information, including user content, to train AI and machine-learning models. This is a permission in the contract, not evidence that any particular conversation was used. We found no opt-out route in the material we checked.
Encryption. End-to-end encryption is not established. Encryption in transit or at rest protects data on its way to the provider's servers and while stored there, but the provider can still read the chats. If you need chats the provider cannot read, this service does not offer that assurance.
Retention. The policy gives no single retention period in days or months. Data is kept as long as the stated purposes require, with legal exceptions. Two exceptions affect what remains after deletion: legal records may be kept, and characters a user shared that became popular may stay on the platform after the account is gone.
Deleting the account. Go to Profile, scroll to the danger zone at the bottom of the page, choose delete my account and follow the on-screen prompts. Official help describes deletion as permanent and processed within 24 to 48 hours. It cancels an active subscription automatically, and you lose any remaining coins without a refund. The account disappears from view, but this step does not undo processing already done for model training or remove records kept for legal reasons. Checked 2026-10-28.
Signing up and how age is checked
The underage policy sets an 18+ requirement. At signup, the documented method is self-declaration: you confirm that you are an adult. The same policy reserves the right to run further age checks when needed, including through third-party document or biometric services.
The official pages do not confirm which method applies to Dutch accounts in practice, or what triggers an additional check. Under the published policy, signup relies on your own age statement unless OurDream asks for more. Services that use a named provider for selfie or ID checks follow a different model of age assurance. Checked 2026-10-28.
The sources we checked do not say whether signup requires an email address, a phone number or a card. You can open a free account, but each chat message costs one coin and we found no fixed universal coin grant. The community FAQ dated 2026-08-03 mentions referral rewards, and an older help article dated 2025-08-25 mentions occasional Discord giveaways. Neither is a guaranteed free allowance.
Bank statement, automatic renewal and cancellation
Bank statement name. When we checked on 2026-10-28, the official pages do not confirm the text that appears on a Dutch bank or card statement. The legal operator is Dream Studio USA, Inc. If you see an unfamiliar foreign charge, compare its date and amount with your OurDream purchase confirmation before contacting your bank.
Automatic renewal. Both paid plans renew automatically: Standard Monthly every month at US$19.99 and Standard Annual every year at US$119.88. A yearly renewal date is easy to forget, so note it when you buy.
How to cancel. The official steps are short:
- Open your profile.
- Select Cancel subscription.
- Confirm the cancellation.
You keep access until the paid term ends and can spend the coins left in your balance during that time. Once the term expires, those coins are not restored if you subscribe again later. Cancelling does not trigger an automatic refund. Refund requests fall under the terms, and support reviews them at its discretion. OurDream bills through its own website, so removing a home-screen PWA or a browser bookmark does not stop the subscription.
Deleting the account also ends the subscription, but it is permanent and forfeits remaining coins immediately, so you cannot use it to pause the service. Cancellation help checked 2026-10-28.
Red flags to weigh before paying
None of the points below proves misconduct. Each one affects what a Dutch subscriber pays, how they pay or how they leave.
- A subscription does not make every model or action free. Genius responses, images, calls and video all use Dreamcoins.
- If you resubscribe after a subscription has expired, unused coins do not come back automatically.
- The published prices are global US-dollar amounts. The official pages do not confirm a euro checkout that includes BTW.
- Official help rules out PayPal, and iDEAL or SEPA were not confirmed.
- The privacy policy permits training on user content and keeps some records after deletion.
- When we checked on 2026-10-28, the Trustpilot page for ourdream.ai showed a profile-removal notice, so no current score can be reported. The notice does not name a specific underlying offence.
- A Reddit post from 2026-08-29 describes uneven conversation consistency and surprise at how many coins a paid plan used. This is one user's unverified report and depends on how they used the service.
How OurDream compares with three alternatives
The four services charge in different ways, so compare them by the unit you will use most, not by the headline price. OurDream and Secrets AI both cost US$19.99 a month but meter extras on very different scales. Nomi.ai has the clearest daily free allowance of the four. Candy.ai's first-month price is lower than its renewal price. For scores based on eight documented-fact criteria, see the AI girlfriend apps comparison. The page of OurDream alternatives covers more options.

The yearly charge is $47.88, shown with a dollar sign and no confirmed currency. The free allowance is 5 messages, 1 image and 1 character in total, not per day. The published EU terms give a 14-day withdrawal period on the first purchase, minus the value of services already used. Checked 2026-10-29.

Who OurDream suits, and who should look elsewhere
OurDream fits adults who:
- can keep track of a fixed subscription alongside metered spending on media and voice;
- mostly use standard text chat, which costs zero coins on a paid plan;
- are fine using a browser or PWA instead of an app-store app;
- want custom and community characters with anime-style images, the style named in the official FAQ.
OurDream is a poor fit for adults who:
- assume a paid plan covers every model, call and video without extra coins;
- expect unused coins to carry over after a subscription expires and they resubscribe;
- need to pay with PayPal, or need confirmed iDEAL billing in euros;
- need a verified Dutch interface or confirmed quality of conversation in Dutch;
- want chats the provider cannot read, or content kept out of model training;
- expect an automatic refund after cancelling.
Frequently asked questions
Is OurDream free to use?
You can open a free account, but each chat message costs one Dreamcoin. We found no fixed universal signup or daily coin grant. The community FAQ dated 2026-08-03 mentions referral rewards, and older help mentions occasional Discord giveaways. Neither is a guaranteed allowance. Checked 2026-10-28.
How much does OurDream cost in the Netherlands?
The published prices are US$19.99 per month or US$119.88 per year, which works out to US$9.99 a month. The official pages do not confirm a euro amount including 21% BTW, so these dollar figures are the only verified prices. Checked 2026-10-28.
Can I pay for OurDream with PayPal or iDEAL?
Official help says PayPal is not supported. When we checked on 2026-10-28, iDEAL and SEPA direct debit were not confirmed as options at the Dutch checkout.
Is OurDream legit?
The service names its operator, Dream Studio USA, Inc., with an address in Dover, Delaware. It publishes prices, coin rates, cancellation steps and a privacy policy. On 2026-10-28 the Trustpilot page showed a profile-removal notice, which does not identify a specific underlying offence.
How do I cancel an OurDream subscription?
Open your profile, select Cancel subscription and confirm. Your access stays active until the paid term ends. Cancelling does not trigger an automatic refund, and any coins left when the term expires are not restored if you subscribe again later.
What happens if I delete my OurDream account?
Go to Profile, then the danger zone, then delete my account. Deletion is permanent and takes 24 to 48 hours. It cancels an active subscription automatically, and you lose remaining coins without a refund. Under the privacy policy, shared characters that became popular and legal records may remain.
Is there an OurDream app?
The official community FAQ says there is no native app. You log in through the website, which you can install as a PWA on a phone or computer. That is why subscriptions are not managed through the App Store or Google Play.
What do Reddit users say about OurDream?
A post from 2026-08-29 reports uneven conversation consistency and surprise at how many coins a paid plan used. A thread from 2026-05-04 compares OurDream with Talkie Lab, with differing views on the interface, memory and short paid trials. These are unverified personal accounts.
What are the best OurDream alternatives?
It depends on what matters most to you: a free daily allowance, adult images or lower metered costs. The page of OurDream alternatives compares options such as Nomi.ai, Secrets AI and Candy.ai using dated prices and policies.
