29 October 2026: Secrets AI's current help pages describe two separate free limits. One is 20 sent messages per day, resetting 24 hours after the first message. The other is 100 messages in total for custom characters. We reopened and checked the official pages on 2026-10-29, and this entry replaces our older statement of 20 messages in total. The same cost table now prices a basic video at 600 Moments for a fixed eight seconds without audio, replacing the earlier figure of 320 Moments for five seconds. Regular Secrets AI prices are still in US dollars: Premium is US$19.99 a month or US$109.99 a year, and Ultimate is US$39.99 a month or US$319.99 a year. We have not confirmed a Dutch checkout that includes BTW.
29 October 2026: Section 10.4.3 of Candy.ai's terms of service (checked 2026-10-29) gives EU and UK customers 14 days to withdraw from an initial purchase, counted from the date the purchase confirmation email was sent. Renewals are not covered. Candy.ai can deduct a prorated amount for services already used, and reimbursement follows within 14 days of the notice. Customers give notice with a clear statement, such as an email to [email protected]; the model form is optional. Dutch buyers should note that this right is separate from Candy.ai's general refund handling, which refers to requests made within 24 hours.
Candy.ai's character creator, checked 2026-10-29, offers realistic and anime styles and explains how to add the site to a home screen. We did not verify a link to a native app store listing. The public plan display shows a dollar symbol but no ISO currency. The first month is 9.99 and renews at 13.99. The quarterly plan is 26.97 upfront and the yearly plan 47.88 upfront, so the displayed monthly equivalents of 8.99 and 3.99 are not what you are charged each month. The free preview allows 5 messages in total, 1 created character and 1 image. Charges show on statements as EverAI.
29 October 2026: OurDream's FAQ, checked 2026-10-29, names an anime image generator and does not list other styles separately. The Standard plan is US$19.99 a month or US$119.88 a year. The yearly price works out to US$9.99 a month but is charged upfront. The help pages say PayPal is not supported, which Dutch readers who expect PayPal at checkout should know. Deleting an OurDream account cancels an active subscription automatically. Deletion takes 24 to 48 hours, and any remaining Dreamcoins are lost with no refund.
28 October 2026: We added euro amounts from Dutch App Store listings. Janitor+ is listed at €14.99 a month and €99 a year. Talkie Lab lists €9.99 for a one-month purchase and €29.99 for one month of Talkie+ Pro. Replika's Dutch listing shows several euro subscription items between €8.99 and €78.99; these are store SKUs, not a single Pro price. Character.AI's Dutch listing shows 9.99, 99.99, 2.99 and 5.99 with no duration labels, so we do not label any of these amounts as monthly or yearly. We did not complete a checkout for any of these listings and have not confirmed the BTW breakdown.
28 October 2026: The Dutch App Store page for Nomi returned a 404 error when we retrieved it. That tells us nothing about whether the web service works from the Netherlands. Nomi's official comparison article lists Standard at US$15.99 a month, US$39.99 a quarter and US$99.99 a year. The free plan has no end date and includes 50 messages per day. Nomi's documentation says conversations are not end-to-end encrypted.
28 October 2026: We recorded interface languages from store listings. Character.AI lists Dutch as an interface language. The iOS listings for Replika and Talkie Lab do not. We did not test the quality of Dutch-language chat for any product, so a listed interface language says nothing about how well a companion converses in Dutch.
SpicyChat's pricing update took effect on 2026-09-08 and uses the same numbers in euros and US dollars. Monthly plans are €5.95, €19.95 and €29.95, and yearly plans are €60, €199.95 and €299.95. The documentation does not confirm iDEAL or SEPA. Crypto payments are one-time and do not renew. Subscribers lose a grandfathered price if they change plan, downgrade or let the subscription lapse. Statements show the descriptor NDAI.CC.
Character.AI announced a voluntary Chapter 11 sale process on 2026-10-12. The platform is still running and subscriptions still bill. The sale is expected to run until late November or early December 2026, and the company says the platform could wind down if no viable bid emerges. In a separate matter, the Italian Garante imposed a €158,000 fine and a 120-day corrective order on 2026-07-03. An appeal is permitted; we have not verified the current status of any appeal or payment.
28 October 2026: The Trustpilot pages for Candy.ai, OurDream and Lovescape show profile-removal notices, so we do not show older star ratings as current scores. A removal notice does not identify a specific cause. We keep store ratings as separate figures; for example, Character.AI's Dutch App Store rating was 4.1 with a displayed count of 11K. Our editorial ratings out of five are assessed separately from consumer review averages.
