This Perchance review covers one tool, the AI Chat generator at perchance.org/ai-chat, and not every generator hosted on the Perchance platform. Perchance has no affiliate programme, so the only Perchance link worth using is the official one. Some readers in the Netherlands will want a service with an account, a published allowance and a named operator. The three products below document those details, and the AI Chat tool does not. Nomi: a fixed daily counter

Nomi's free plan has no end date. Its official wiki gives 50 messages per day, with free inputs capped at 400 characters (paid: 800). The free plan needs no card. Without a subscription, voice features become read-only. An official comparison article lists the Standard plan at US$15.99 per month. We could not read a Dutch App Store price when we checked on 2026-10-28, so this page gives no euro amount or BTW figure.
Nomi says its chats are not end-to-end encrypted. It also says account deletion removes personal information within about 28 days, except for support records and data kept for legal reasons.

Candy.ai's free allowance is a one-off sample: 5 chat messages across characters, 1 created character and 1 generated image. No daily renewal is mentioned. The first month is shown as 9.99 with a dollar symbol and renews at 13.99. We did not verify the ISO currency or a Dutch checkout with tax included (checked 2026-10-28). The listed payment methods are card, crypto, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Under its terms, EU users have a 14-day withdrawal right on the initial purchase only, not on renewals, minus a deduction for services already used. Charges appear under the descriptor EverAI.

OurDream Standard Monthly costs US$19.99 and includes 1,000 Dreamcoins at purchase and at each renewal. Standard Annual is US$119.88 (US$9.99 per month equivalent). Standard text on a paid plan costs no coins, but a voice call costs 50 coins per minute, so the monthly grant pays for about 20 call minutes if you spend it on nothing else. Free accounts pay 1 coin per chat message. According to official help pages checked 2026-10-28, PayPal is not supported.
Account deletion is permanent. It cancels an active subscription automatically, forfeits any remaining coins and takes 24 to 48 hours to process.

Verdict in 30 seconds
Start with what Perchance AI Chat does not ask for: no account, no email, no phone number and no payment card. The generator's own description advertises unlimited free messages with no signup and no daily cap. That is the provider's statement, checked 2026-10-28. It promises nothing about reply quality, speed or how long the capacity will stay unrestricted.
Next, where the conversation lives. AI Chat keeps chats in the browser's localStorage, on the device you are using. Editable summaries let you carry context forward in a long session. No cloud sync is described, so a laptop and a phone keep separate histories, and clearing site data in the browser can delete a chat permanently.
Then there is everything we could not establish. We found no public operator, privacy policy, age-assurance method, end-to-end encryption claim or GDPR contact for the platform. The text-plugin documentation says prompts and responses are not stored on its server, but no independent audit confirms this. A reader in the Netherlands who wants to know who is responsible for their data will find no answer.
We have not given Perchance AI Chat a score. The displayed score reflects documented product facts. We have not tested dialogue quality or Dutch-language output, and the score says nothing about either.
Scores by criterion
Provisional (6/8 criteria). Scores are computed from each app's published terms, pricing, policies and store listings on the dates shown. We have not yet run paid test accounts; when we do, experience criteria will be added and the cap on the total score removed. Affiliate links never change a score. A score marked Full data rests on all eight criteria. Provisional means five to seven criteria could be scored from published facts. Limited data means only three or four criteria could be scored; such totals are capped at 3.5 and should be read as a floor, not a verdict. Apps with fewer than three scorable criteria get no total. What was checked and when
We checked the Perchance generator descriptions, the text-plugin documentation and the Trustpilot profile on 2026-10-28. Comparison figures for Nomi and OurDream were checked on 2026-10-28, and for Candy.ai on 2026-10-29. This page was updated on 2026-10-29. The subject is the AI Chat generator. Where we mention the separate AI Character Chat generator, we name it.

Price in euros: what there is and what there is not
The AI Chat tool has no euro figure to report. The description offers free access, so the usual Dutch payment questions do not come up: no iDEAL purchase, no SEPA mandate, no card on file and no invoice showing 21% BTW. For the tool as described, the monthly cost is a browser and an internet connection. That applies to this one generator. It is no guarantee for other pages or for similarly named sites elsewhere on the web.
The comparison rows show that "free" means different things. Nomi's counter resets daily. Candy.ai's sample can be used once. OurDream charges a free account per message from a coin balance with no fixed grant. On the paid side, none of the three had a verified euro price with BTW included when we checked. Candy.ai shows a dollar symbol without a confirmed currency, and Nomi and OurDream publish prices in USD. If you pay from a Dutch bank account, you only see the final amount, any currency conversion and the tax treatment at checkout or on your statement. Published figures allow one cost calculation: OurDream's 1,000 monthly Dreamcoins equal 20 minutes of voice calls at 50 coins per minute, or 200 in-chat images at 5 coins each. Perchance AI Chat has no comparable meter.

Features of the AI Chat generator
AI Chat runs in the browser. A web version is confirmed. We found no iOS App Store or Google Play listing, official APK or installable PWA. On a phone you use the mobile browser, and the chat history stays tied to that browser.
Memory has two layers. The running conversation is saved in the browser's localStorage, so it survives closing the tab on the same device. For longer roleplay, the tool supports editable summaries. You can rewrite the summary the model works from, which gives you some say over what the character keeps in mind. No context-token limit was published or verified, so we cannot say how much of a long conversation the model reads for each reply.

Perchance also hosts a separate generator, AI Character Chat at perchance.org/ai-character-chat. That tool advertises custom character creation, character import and export, and free generated images built in. These belong to Character Chat, not AI Chat. Anyone searching for a Perchance AI girlfriend with pictures should check which generator they are using before relying on either set of features.
We did not establish voice, video or in-chat selfies for AI Chat, and language support is not documented. A Dutch speaker may get Dutch replies from the model, but we did not test the interface language or the accuracy of Dutch conversation. Being able to reach a global page from the Netherlands says nothing about quality in the local language.
Adult content: what the documentation actually says
The text-plugin documentation at perchance.org/ai-text-plugin acknowledges that the model can produce adult themes when a user asks for them. That is all the established policy says, as checked on 2026-10-28. We found no full platform-wide adult-content policy and no published list of prohibited content in the material checked. No setting or toggle for mature content is documented for AI Chat.
Image rules are also unknown. AI Chat is a text tool. The image feature belongs to the Character Chat generator, and we found no adult-image policy for it. Claims online about a Perchance version with no filter do not match any official statement, so we do not repeat them here.
A missing rulebook is not permission. This site covers fictional adult characters in ordinary roleplay and nothing beyond that. Content involving minors, real identifiable people or non-consensual material is illegal in the Netherlands, whatever a tool's documentation says or leaves out. For comparison, Candy.ai publishes a blocked-content policy that bans sexual content involving minors and harmful impersonation of real people, and Nomi's wiki says its current policy does not provide nude companion photos. Those are their rules, not Perchance's, but they show what a written policy looks like.
Perchance hosts many generators, including ones built by the community, so you cannot assume one page behaves like another.
Privacy: local storage, a server claim and missing paperwork
AI Chat says conversations are kept in local browser storage. The text-plugin documentation adds that prompts and responses are not stored on the server. We checked both statements on 2026-10-28. Neither has been independently audited, and the server statement comes from plugin documentation, not a formal privacy policy.
For a user in the Netherlands, what is missing matters more than what is claimed. We found no privacy policy URL or date, no data controller, no jurisdiction and no GDPR contact. The GDPR gives you rights of access and erasure, but to use them you need to know who the controller is, and it is not published. End-to-end encryption is neither claimed nor established. The documentation does not say whether conversations are used for model training.
Local storage has three practical consequences:
- Clearing cookies and site data for perchance.org, or using a private browsing window that discards data on close, can remove the history.
- Anyone with access to the same browser profile can open the stored chats.
- Nothing syncs to another device, so no other copy exists unless you make one.
Copies you make carry their own risk. Save/load exports produce a file that sits wherever you put it, and anyone who receives a shared conversation link can read the content. The plugin's statement about the server does not touch a copy you exported or a link someone else has opened.
You can delete chats inside the generator or by clearing browser site data. With no account, there is no account to delete. Nomi, by contrast, documents a deletion path with email verification and removal within about 28 days, and Candy.ai names a data protection contact at [email protected]. Those are account-based arrangements with their own retention rules, including Candy.ai's stated retention of account data for up to 3 years after last activity.
Signup and age checks
According to the generator description checked 2026-10-28, AI Chat needs no email address, no phone number and no payment card. Opening the page is the whole signup. That is the main reason people search for a free AI girlfriend with no sign-up on Perchance, and for this tool the description is accurate.
The same openness is also the clearest gap. We found no age-assurance implementation for the platform: no age gate, no date-of-birth entry, no third-party verification provider and no procedure specific to the Netherlands. Nothing in the material checked explains how the platform keeps minors away from the adult themes the text plugin acknowledges.
Other services document at least a basic step. Nomi asks for a date of birth and requires all users and characters to be 18 or older. Candy.ai uses an 18+ affirmation gate and says additional local checks may apply. Character.AI, a non-adult service, uses Persona for age estimation with an ID fallback. These range from self-declarations to vendor checks, and none is a guarantee, but each is a written process. Perchance AI Chat publishes none.
In Dutch households with a shared computer, the consequence is simple: with no account and no age gate, the browser profile is the only barrier. Our Netherlands guide covers how age checks differ between services available here.
Cancelling and auto-renewal
AI Chat as described has nothing to cancel. Its free access involves no subscription, no trial that turns into a paid plan and no stored card, so there is no renewal date, refund rule or bank statement descriptor. To stop, close the tab. To remove your history, delete the chat in the generator or clear site data for perchance.org.
Paid alternatives each have their own rules:
- Nomi: Profile, Subscription, Manage Subscription, Cancel Subscription, then confirm. Access lasts until the end of the billing period. Uninstalling the app does not cancel, and Nomi does not routinely refund unused time.
- Candy.ai: My Profile, Settings, Unsubscribe, then confirm. Access continues until the period ends. The EU 14-day withdrawal right covers the initial purchase only, counted from the confirmation email, with a prorated deduction for services used (checked 2026-10-29).
- OurDream: open the profile, cancel subscription, confirm. You can use remaining coins until the paid term ends, and they are not restored if you resubscribe later. Cancelling does not trigger a refund.
All three renew automatically. Only Candy.ai's terms spell out the EU withdrawal procedure, including that an email to [email protected] is enough notice.
Red flags
We took these points from the provider's own pages and public profiles, checked 2026-10-28.
- Local browser storage is not a backup across devices. Clearing site data, switching browsers or reinstalling can remove chats permanently.
- Perchance hosts many different generators. Features and content rules confirmed for one, such as images or import/export on Character Chat, may not apply to AI Chat or to pages built by the community.
- We found no public operator identity, age-assurance implementation or full privacy terms. Without a named controller, GDPR requests have no clear recipient.
- The claim that prompts and responses are not stored on the server comes from plugin documentation and has not been independently audited.
- "Unlimited messages" is the provider's own description. It does not commit to availability, speed or future limits.
- Trustpilot shows a score of 2.8 from 12 reviews (checked 2026-10-28). That is a small, unprompted sample and does not assess the AI Chat tool specifically.
We found no regulatory actions or documented incidents involving Perchance in the material checked. That means we found nothing. It does not mean anyone has certified a clean record.
Who it suits, and who should look elsewhere
AI Chat suits adults who want to try text roleplay with a fictional character without giving an email address or card details, and who accept that the conversation lives in one browser only. If you already export or copy what you want to keep and use a single device, the lack of cloud sync costs you little. The editable summaries suit users who like to steer a story's context themselves.
It is a poor fit for:
- Anyone who wants the same conversation on a phone and a laptop.
- Readers who need a named data controller, a privacy policy and a GDPR contact before sharing personal details in a chat.
- Households that rely on an age gate, since we found none.
- Dutch speakers who need confirmed Dutch-language quality; we did not test it.
- Users who want images, voice or a mobile app in the same tool; we found none of these for AI Chat.

I don't even understand why we have them. They are literally always used for nefarious reasons. And without a dedicated mod support for each chat, I don't see how chatrooms here would have ever been a good idea.
