To cancel Candy AI, open My Profile, go to Settings, choose Unsubscribe and complete the confirmation prompts (route checked 2026-10-28). Until you do this, the subscription renews automatically. Premium access then continues until the current billing period ends, so if a chat still opens the next day, that is expected and does not mean the cancellation failed.
People often mix up three separate actions. Unsubscribing stops the next renewal. Deleting the account is a different control, found under Danger Zone. A refund or an EU withdrawal is a request you send to support. Dutch subscribers should also know that Candy shows its plans with a dollar symbol, and the public pages we checked do not confirm a euro checkout, a price that includes 21% BTW, or iDEAL as a payment option. Compare any charge with your own receipt rather than the advertised figure.
Plans, renewal amounts and allowances (checked 2026-10-28)
The amounts below are the public displays, shown with a dollar symbol and no currency code. Don't add 21% BTW to them yourself: if a Dutch checkout already shows a gross amount, adding the general rate again overstates the cost. Go by the figure on your receipt. Tokens are an allowance, not a count of finished actions. 100 monthly Premium tokens do not mean 100 completed images or replies, because the public help pages don't state what each action costs.

Stopping renewal step by step
Before you start, note which plan you have and when it renews. If you joined the monthly plan at $9.99, expect the next charge to be $13.99. Quarterly and yearly plans are paid upfront, so the next charge comes at the end of the full term.
- Sign in to the account that holds the subscription and open My Profile.
- Go to Settings.
- Select Unsubscribe. Don't use Delete Account in the Danger Zone here, because that control does something else.
- Go through the confirmation prompts until the service confirms the result.
- Check the subscription status in the account, and save a copy or note of the confirmation and the date given for the end of paid access.
You can add Candy to a phone home screen as a web app. Removing that shortcut, closing the browser or simply not logging in will not stop billing. Only the account action does.
On a Dutch bank or card statement, the charge appears under the descriptor EverAI, the name of the Malta-based operator EverAI Limited (registration C107181). Candy's payment help lists major credit cards, crypto, Apple Pay and Google Pay. iDEAL, SEPA direct debit and PayPal are not on that list, so check which method you actually used when you trace a charge. On Reddit, some users connect unexpected EverAI entries to Candy and report different experiences with refunds. These are individual, unverified reports and do not prove wrongdoing, but they are a good reason to match each entry to a receipt.
If you want money back, the terms (section 10.4.3, checked 2026-10-29) describe two routes. Under the EU withdrawal right, you can withdraw from the initial purchase within 14 days, counted from the date the purchase confirmation email was sent. Renewals are not covered. Candy may deduct the prorated value of services you used before your request, and must reimburse you within 14 days of your notice. The notice has to be an unequivocal statement. An email to [email protected] counts, and the model withdrawal form is optional. Outside that right, the general refund terms allow a 24-hour request window, with restrictions tied to token use.
If you also want to close the account, unsubscribe first and save the confirmation. Then go to My Profile, Settings, Danger Zone, Delete Account and confirm. Under the privacy policy dated 2026-10-19, account data is generally kept up to 3 years after last activity, marketing data generally up to 2 years and financial records for 10 years, so your payment history outlasts the account. Screen labels can change. If the wording in your account is different, follow the confirmation the service shows you and keep the record it provides.

Do I keep Premium after unsubscribing?
Yes. Access continues until the current billing period ends, and once the cancellation is confirmed there should be no further renewal. On a yearly plan paid at $47.88, that can mean many months of access left.
Can I use the 14-day EU withdrawal right on a renewal?
No. Section 10.4.3 of the terms (checked 2026-10-29) limits the 14-day withdrawal to the initial purchase, counted from the purchase confirmation email. Candy can deduct a prorated amount for services already used. For other cases, the general refund terms mention a 24-hour request window with restrictions tied to token use.
What is the EverAI charge on my statement?
EverAI is the billing descriptor for Candy.ai, which is operated by EverAI Limited in Malta. Match the amount and date with your receipt. A subscription renewal and a token top-up are separate transactions and can show up as different entries.
Does the displayed price include 21% BTW?
That is not confirmed. The public plans show a dollar symbol with no currency code, and the pages we checked on 2026-10-28 do not give a Dutch total including tax. Go by the amount on your receipt and don't add the BTW rate to it again.
Does deleting my account stop the subscription?
Cancellation and deletion are documented as separate routes: Unsubscribe in Settings, and Delete Account under Danger Zone. Unsubscribe first, keep the confirmation, then delete. Under the privacy policy, financial records are kept for 10 years even after the account is removed.
