18+ only. This page is about adult users and fictional characters. Kindroid's official website is kindroid.ai, and the operator is Beautifully Incorporated in Los Angeles. You can use the service in a browser or through the mobile apps. When we checked the Dutch App Store listing on 2026-10-28, it showed three subscription items: €17.99 for a general entry with no billing interval printed, €49.99 for three months and €179.99 for a year. New accounts get a one-time preview, not a free allowance that comes back.
Kindroid is not in our comparisons. We only list services where the characters and their images stay entirely fictional, and Kindroid's custom-persona feature accepts uploaded photos. That is a decision about our editorial scope. It does not mean we found anything unlawful. If you want a listed service, the AI girlfriend app comparison is a place to start. Three documented starting points from it: Nomi gives 50 free messages per day, Candy.ai gives 5 chat messages in total, and OurDream Standard costs US$19.99 per month with 1,000 Dreamcoins. Each counter measures something different, so the services are not equivalent.
The official site links to the iOS and Android stores. We did not find an official Kindroid APK file. A "mod APK" from a third-party site is therefore not a Kindroid release, and it falls outside the store and web billing channels described below.
Kindroid prices in euros
These amounts come from Apple storefronts checked on 2026-10-28. The official pages do not confirm on our own whether the Dutch amounts include 21% BTW, so treat them as listed store prices, not a verified checkout total. Spread over the term, the annual item comes to about €15.00 per month and the three-month item to about €16.66 per month. We took the credit packs from the German listing, which has the same euro subscription amounts as the Dutch one. Their Dutch prices are not shown here. Ultra and MAX are add-on subscriptions billed separately, and Kindroid publishes no combined total for them.

Getting in, verifying age and leaving again
You start either on the website or through the store listing for your device. The free preview needs no payment card. It includes 50 messages, 5 image credits and 5,000 audio credits in total, plus 2 companions. Some regions get only 15 messages, but the Netherlands is not mapped to those regions. Once the preview runs out, the account turns read-only. The three-day trial uses the Ember model, requires a payment method, needs phone verification on the web and renews automatically.
Kindroid is 18+. Paid billing counts as age verification, even after it lapses. Free or gifted accounts may be subject to behavioural age estimation. A flagged account can use a Yoti selfie estimate, which has a threshold of 21, or an ID check for adults below that threshold. You get up to five Yoti attempts per 24 hours. Kindroid says it only receives a pass or fail result.
Documented web payment methods are card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Amazon Pay and Cash App. iDEAL and SEPA are not on that list. Refunds are generally not given, except when support decides otherwise at its discretion.
- Open kindroid.ai or the official store listing it links to.
- Use the one-time preview before you decide on the trial; it does not refill daily.
- If you start the trial, write down the renewal date, since a payment method is already attached.
- Cancel web billing under Profile, Billing, Kindroid Standard Subscription, Manage subscription; cancel store purchases in your Apple or Google settings.
- Cancel Ultra and MAX separately; MAX requires both Standard and Ultra.
- Export your data if you want it (allowed every 30 days), then delete under Profile, Preferences, Account privacy, Delete account.
What was checked and when
We checked App Store prices for the Netherlands, Germany and Canada on 2026-10-28. The privacy policy took effect on 22 October 2026 and the terms on 6 October 2026. The combined legal page was updated on 23 October 2026. Free Lite ended on 1 October 2026, so older guides describing a permanently free Kindroid tier refer to a version of the service that no longer exists.
The preview's image credits arrive in stages: one at the start, then one every two hours, with at most two held at once, until you reach the total of five. That pattern can look like a daily refill, but the cap does not change. Reputation figures from the same date: Trustpilot shows 2.6 from 20 reviews, and the Canadian App Store shows 4.7 from 938 ratings. Both samples are small, and neither is an editorial score.
Costs, privacy and the wider comparison
The Kindroid review explains how the separate Standard, Ultra and MAX subscriptions stack and why deleting an account does not stop billing. Voice use spends audio credits. A base call minute costs 400 credits, so the 5,000 preview credits cover 12 full minutes, and a 500,000-credit pack covers 1,250 base minutes. A standard live avatar adds 2,500 credits per minute, and a premium avatar adds 4,500.
Kindroid operates under United States jurisdiction. Its policy says plainly that chats are not end-to-end encrypted. Chats and media are kept until you delete them, except for limited anti-abuse, billing and legal records. Your last remaining Kindroid has a mandatory 24-hour wait before removal, but earlier ones can be deleted right away. A moderation lock disables in-app deletion. EU privacy requests can still go through DataRep, the appointed representative. We do not rate Kindroid against other apps, because it is not in our listings. Our comparison ranks listed services on documented criteria. Nomi is one example there of a free allowance that recurs: 50 messages per day, with no card required. Kindroid's free preview is a one-time allocation of 50 messages.
Which is better, Replika or Kindroid?
They differ on documented points, not on a shared score. Replika has no paid trial, and chatting stays free with no published daily cap. Its Dutch App Store listing shows several subscription items from €8.99 to €78.99, checked 2026-10-28. Kindroid has a one-time preview and a three-day trial that requires a payment method. On Replika, you have to delete the account to remove the whole chat history. Kindroid lets you delete chats and export your data every 30 days.
Is there an official Kindroid APK or mod APK?
No official APK is documented. The official site links to the iOS and Android stores, and the web version runs in a browser. A modified APK is not an official Kindroid build.
Does deleting the app or the account cancel the subscription?
No. Deleting the account does not cancel subscriptions. Cancel each active plan through the channel you bought it in: web billing under Profile and Billing, or your Apple or Google store settings.
Is Kindroid still free in the Netherlands?
Only as a one-time preview. Free Lite ended on 1 October 2026. New accounts get 50 messages, 5 image credits and 5,000 audio credits in total. After that, the account becomes read-only unless you start a trial or subscription.
